Room to Respond

Terms of Use

Effective date: September 4, 2026

Acceptance of these terms

By using this website or submitting information through a Room to Respond assessment, inquiry form, or invoice-request form, you agree to these Terms of Use. Additional written terms may apply to a paid engagement or consulting service. If you do not agree, do not use the assessments or submit a purchase request.

Purpose of Room to Respond

Room to Respond provides educational, organizational-development, and consulting tools intended to help leaders and teams examine the conditions surrounding work. Results support observation, discussion, and planning.

Room to Respond does not provide medical, psychological, legal, accounting, tax, human-resources, employment-law, or other regulated professional advice. Assessment results are not a diagnosis, certification, legal conclusion, or guarantee of business performance. Obtain advice from an appropriately qualified professional when making decisions in those areas.

Appropriate use

You agree to use Room to Respond materials lawfully and responsibly. Assessment results should not be used as the sole basis for employment decisions, discipline, termination, compensation decisions, medical conclusions, or legal determinations.

You are responsible for providing accurate information, sharing participant invitations appropriately, and using results in a way that respects participant privacy.

Private links and access

Private result and invitation links are intended only for the authorized purchaser, participant, or organization. You may not publish, resell, or knowingly provide private access links to unauthorized people.

Paid online access is normally available for 12 months after access is issued. Customers may print or save completed materials for their internal use during that period.

Intellectual property

Room to Respond retains ownership of its assessment methodology, questions, scoring logic, interpretation framework, visual design, templates, and supporting materials. Purchasing a service provides a limited, nonexclusive right to use the resulting materials for the purchaser’s internal business purposes.

Customers may retain, print, and internally share their completed reports and action materials. They may not reproduce the assessment for resale, create a competing assessment from the materials, remove ownership notices, or distribute blank assessment instruments without written permission.

Purchases

Submitting an invoice request does not create immediate access and does not mean payment has been collected. Prices are shown in U.S. dollars unless stated otherwise. An invoice identifies the amount due, due date, and payment instructions. Full payment is required before full access is granted unless Room to Respond agrees otherwise in writing.

Refunds, cancellations, and rescheduling are governed by the separate Payment, Refund & Cancellation Policy and any signed service agreement.

Availability and changes

Room to Respond may improve or change website features, assessment language, service contents, or pricing. A purchased engagement will be delivered according to the description or written agreement in effect when the order is accepted.

The website and services are provided on an “as available” basis. Reasonable efforts will be made to maintain access, but uninterrupted or error-free operation cannot be guaranteed.

Limitation of responsibility

You remain responsible for organizational, employment, financial, legal, and operational decisions made after reviewing Room to Respond materials. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Room to Respond is not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from use of the website or assessment materials.
